Delilah was in for a surprise. Her and some co-workers were watching television and saw that someone had committed a hit and run, killing a little girl. A co-worker next to Delilah said. “Oh my goodness, someone hit that little girl and left the accident,” she was torn by the story.

“That’s sad and so cruel,” says Delilah.

“Yeah, whoever did it needs their ass kick.”

“I agree… how someone could live, yet, know they killed a little girl,” said Delilah.

“I don’t know, there are sick people out there who don’t care at all. I got to go get the latest on this story and get something into the papers.”

As Delilah sat there watching the news about the little girl, she notices the area is where she lives. Minutes into the news, her boss comes over the intercom and calls her to his office. Delilah gets up slowly and soon as she stands, she walks towards the office. When she opened the door she asked, “What’s going on?” when she saw, cops standing in the office long side her boss.

“These guys are here to see you Miss Barker.”

When the office starts reading her rights she has a vision of what really took place this morning before coming to work. “The loud noise, the dent on the right side of my car?” she asked herself. The officer heard her whispers and told her that is how they were able to identify the vehicle. It had traces of the little girl’s blood on it.

The officer charged Delilah with Vehicle Manslaughter for the murder of Ashley Parker. Delilah was yet unsure to what was taking place. She was so ashamed and embarrassed. Her boss asked her if there was anything, he could do for her and she told him to call her best friends Gabriel and Courtney.

As soon as they got word, their friend was in need and a murderer they rushed to her side.

An officer by the name of Jeff greeted them as they entered the building, “Hi Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. King, what can I do for you lovely women today?”

“We’re here to see Delilah Barker,” said Courtney.

“The girl who murdered the little girl,” asked Jeff.

“How do you all know she did this horrible act?”

“Evidence that she hit the kid Mrs. King.”

“We don’t believe the bullshit. She would never hurt anyone,” shouts Courtney.

Gabriel tells her to calm down and get a grip of herself.

“I would be the same way if it was you Gabriel. You know she would not harm anyone on purpose. She’s my friend!” yell Courtney.

“She’s my friend as well Courtney. Don’t act as if you’re the only one who cares about her.”

Courtney rolled her eyes at Gabriel and asked Jeff to let her see Delilah. Jeff took them back and Delilah was so excited to see her two best friends standing behind Jeff.

“I’m glad you two have come to see me,” says Delilah, as she sobbed and wept inside the cell.

“What the hell have you done Delilah?” asked Courtney.

“I think I killed someone.
